Different people have added pages, forms, booking tools and messages over time.

Eventually, the website no longer shows clearly what the institution actually is, what it offers, or what a visitor should do next.

I help rebuild that system.

What I work on

Depending on the institution, the work may include:

  • clarifying what the organisation offers and to whom;
  • restructuring the visitor journey from first contact to visit, enquiry or booking;
  • rebuilding information architecture and key website pages;
  • simplifying bilingual or multilingual content;
  • aligning public language across programmes and services;
  • identifying digital processes that are fragmented or unnecessarily manual;
  • building or coordinating the practical digital layer needed to make the new structure work.

The goal is not a cosmetic redesign.

It is a digital presence that reflects the institution accurately and works in practice.

What you receive

The engagement has a defined scope and a concrete handover.

Depending on the project, this may include:

  • a revised site and content structure;
  • rewritten or reorganised key pages;
  • a clearer visitor or user journey;
  • recommendations for booking, enquiry or programme flows;
  • selected digital tools or integrations;
  • documentation of the final structure;
  • a practical handover for the team.

Where implementation is part of the agreed scope, I stay responsible through the working version — not only the recommendation.

Why I do this work

Since 2016, I have helped build and lead Experimentorium Science Museum in Tbilisi.

My work there has included educational programmes, visitor experience, communications, websites, booking flows, bilingual content, partnerships, AI-supported tools and internal systems.

I have spent more than ten years inside a real institution — where a website is not a branding exercise. It has to help visitors understand, decide, book, arrive and use what the organisation has built.

That is the perspective I bring to this work.

Case

Experimentorium Science Museum, Tbilisi

Institutional digital rebuild from inside a working museum

Context

Experimentorium is an interactive science museum in Tbilisi that has been operating since 2016.

Over time, the museum developed new programmes, events, booking formats, educational offers and communications. As often happens in a working institution, the digital layer grew piece by piece around the operation.

The problem was not simply that the website needed to look newer.

The institution itself had become more complex than the digital structure representing it.

The problem

Visitors needed to understand several things quickly:

  • what Experimentorium actually is;
  • who the museum is for;
  • what can be experienced during a regular visit;
  • what programmes and events are available;
  • how birthdays, school visits and other formats work;
  • how to choose, enquire and book;
  • where to find the same information consistently across languages.

At the same time, the museum team needed a digital system that could be maintained without creating unnecessary operational work.

What I rebuilt

I worked across the system rather than treating the website as an isolated design project.

The work included:

  • clarifying the museum's public positioning and language;
  • reorganising the site around real visitor decisions;
  • restructuring programme and service information;
  • rebuilding bilingual content and navigation;
  • simplifying enquiry and booking paths;
  • connecting the website more closely to the museum's actual operating processes;
  • building and configuring the digital infrastructure needed to run the system;
  • reviewing and correcting inconsistencies across pages, offers and visitor information.

I used AI-supported and no-code tools where they made implementation faster, while keeping the institutional logic, content decisions and final structure under my responsibility.

The result

The museum now has a digital presence organised around how the institution actually works and how visitors make decisions.

Instead of separate pages and tools accumulating independently, the site functions as part of the operating system of the museum: explaining the institution, presenting programmes, supporting enquiries and bookings, and giving the team a structure it can continue to use.

I do not claim a conversion uplift or other commercial metric that has not been formally measured.

What this case demonstrates

This is the kind of problem I am interested in solving for other small museums, science centres and educational or cultural organisations: when the institution has grown, but its digital structure has not grown coherently with it.

My role is to understand the organisation first, then rebuild the digital layer around the real work.
